Benevolence Ministry
​
The Benevolence Ministry under the guidance of Sister Cobina Timmons consists of a faithful Assembly of God’s servants who possess a heart of compassion for those who lack life’s basic needs. This ministry provides physical nourishment and spiritual enrichment to encourage everyone in Christ. The ministry offers food, clothing, toiletries and any other resources that may be needed.
Shepherd's Staff
The Shepherd's Staff under the guidance of Sister Ivory Dowdell serves as a spiritual, financial and emotional support system for the Pastor, Overseer and their family. As chosen members for this ministry we consider ourselves blessed to serve in this capacity. We are also responsible for hosting celebratory services for the Pastor, Overseer and Church Family.
Mother-Daughter Ministry
The Mother-Daughter Ministry is an outreach to the community. Our purpose is to be a blessing to all. We visit the Nursing Homes, assist our Senior Citizens, and pray for those in need. This ministry is limitless for those who seek assistance, and who need to hear a word from God.
Music Ministry

BVOD Music Ministry under the guidance of Sister LaQuinta Jackson and Sister Ivory Dowdell is a dedicated group of worshipers who lend their voices in worship to God in song. We are musically blessed by our Adult Choir.
Media Ministry
​
BVOD Media Ministry under the guidance of Sister Costella Bridgeman & Sister Naomi Love provides opportunities to present information to our church members and the public through technology including video, social media, print media, photography, and web design.
Christian Education
​
BVOD Christian Education Ministry is responsible for organizing, developing and coordinating Christian Education experiences (Bible Study, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Scholarship) that enables the ministry to support the vision and mission of BVOD.
Kingdom Kids Ministry
BVOD Kingdom Kids Ministry under the guidance of Sister Amanda Kline, Sister Chelsea Kline and Sister Jennifer Henderson is designed to provide children with an opportunity to worship God and to hear God's Word taught in an engaging way. Children are encouraged to worship God through singing, fun age-appropriate activities, and God centered Bible lessons. We believe that Kingdom Kids Ministry must be God glorifying, Gospel centered, Bible saturated and in line with the vision and mission of BVOD. (Ages 4-9)
Stewardship Ministry
BVOD Stewardship Ministry offers a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to being a faithful steward over all areas of your life. It is important that we learn to discipline our minds, body, and spirit every minute of the day.
Usher Board
BVOD Ushers under the guidance of Sister Pam Cleveland is comprised of a group of dedicated individuals who extend a hand of greeting to everyone. BVOD Ushers stand with a humble heart and joyful spirit. This ministry supports the Pastor, Overseer, church family and visitors during services and programs. BVOD ushers will greet everyone with a pleasant smile, and warm welcome.
Culinary Ministry
BVOD Culinary Ministry under the guidance of Sister Deborah Carpenter is comprised of a group of dedicated individuals with a talent and love for cooking. This ministry provides members in the church an opportunity to utilize their culinary gifts. This group of food extraordinaires prepare meals that supports the ministry of feeding the souls.
Discipleship Ministry Team
BVOD Discipleship Ministry Teams mission is to provide an outreach of God's love, grace, mercy, compassion and salvation. Embracing all as we return to our first Love. The teams vision is to impact and create a community and generation of Kingdom warriors completing the work God has started while realizing the divine purpose.
